General Duties: Cecil College, the fastest growing community college in Maryland seeks qualified
applicants to fill a full-time Assistant Professor of Business beginning in the fall of the
2012-2013 academic year. The College is conveniently located half way between the Baltimore and
Philadelphia corridor. Cecil College fosters a collegial working environment, is dedicated to
student success, and ranks among the nation's leaders in faculty/student engagement.
Responsibilities include: lead teacher for introductory and advanced accounting courses, macro and
micro economics, curriculum planning/revision and committee work. Salary: $45,787 to $51,309 with
additional consideration, as required, depending on academic preparation and experience. This
full-time, 10-month renewable position begins August, 2012.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or a Master's degree in Accounting, Business or equivalent is required. College teaching experience is preferred as well as a familiarity with the use of technology (online learning management systems, etc.) in the teaching of Accounting. Candidates must be willing to teach day and evening classes.
